Okay Ipsy, I'm on the fence about this months subscription. I like this month bag but then I don't like it LOL. So lets dive rite into it.
- Full size Boo-Boo Cover-Up Concealer in the shade (I don't know the shade, did not list it on the packaging). 0.34 oz retails for $19.99
- Pacifica eyeshadow duo in "Natural Beauty" 2.0 G I think this is a sample duo
- Travel size Balanced Guru "No Frizz Oil" 0.5 fl retails for $13.00
- Sample size HangTen "Classic Sport SPF 50" 1 fl oz full size is 6 oz and retails for $12.99
- 1 Avene "Thermal Spring Water" 1.76 oz sold in a pack of 3 and retails for $18.00
I do but don't like the actual bag that all the items came in. I like the print and the material, it just feels extremely earthy to me. The shape of it is nice, but the fact that the print is only on one side I feel takes away from it. I have heard complaints of the bag having a strong odor to it. I can say that mine is odorless. I'm more of a pink and glitters kinda girl and this bag is far from that. I think in all that's why I'm not loving it. Now, to the products.
Boo-Boo Cover-Up Concealer in the shade unknown. This was the biggest disappoint in this bag. I wanted to love it, I mean who would not? This has some pretty amazing claims that it covers imperfections and heals at the same time. It claims that it can be used as a concealer, contour and as body makeup. I decided to try this as a concealer under my eyes. It did not cover anything for me, it made my skin appear a little more aged. It showed all imperfections bringing more attention to them rather then taking away. This also never set, it remained tacky. Setting it with a powder seemed all bad, far from a good idea so I left it as is. When it comes to using this on the body, well it's nowhere near my skin tone (I know the picture below would make one think otherwise, but trust me on this) so I skipped that test also. As far as covering my slightly dark circles, it did nothing for them. This product is thick in consistency and has a slight tea tree smell to it. All together, I'd pass on this and for me no where near worth the hefty price of $19.99 plus shipping. When it comes to it's healing properties, I had no boo boos to put it on to heal.

Now my biggest laugh and entertainment came from Pacifica eyeshadow duo in "Natural Beauty". OMG what was Pacifica thinking with the packaging? This was a complete fail. As soon as I tried to open it, the top popped off. Every YouTube review I watched had the same issue. As far as the color pay off, well I was expecting the worse but was pleasantly surprised. It may not have been extremely pigmented, but it did its job. I like the gold shimmer color to use on my inner corners of my eyes. This was a keeper for me. I don't see myself purchasing anything from Pacifica. I have yet to find anything great.

Ok, so please someone tell me how this Balanced Guru "No Frizz Oil" in 0.5 fl equals a travel size? My hair is way too big for this to be any kind of travel size. This will only last a few times and then it's done. This has an extremely herbal scent to it. I do enjoy the scent, just not the size. This has an eyedropper applicator that makes it much easier to use rather then poring it. I have yet to try this out, due to the fact that I'd like to try this on my hair when it's straight. So this travel size is going to have to wait its day for travel LOL.
Another product that I have yet to try or even open is the HangTen "Classic Sport SPF 50". It's SPF is so high that it's too early in the summer season to apply such strength. I do enjoy its compact size and the fact that from what I can see can be used all over and on the face and body. That's how I'm understanding the back label instructions on the tube. I plan to use this later in the summer or on long exposed summer days in the sun. As for now, I did not see a need to open it to try it. In my mind as long as it's sealed it'll remains good.
Last but not least was the Avene "Thermal Spring Water". I love misting spring waters. I find them to be very refreshing. I keep one in my car and one in my beach bag. If my handbag was not so jammed pack I'd have one in there also. I find no difference from the Evian Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray I'm currently using. This has a nice mist to it. Nothing overwhelming or drenching. In all, a good product.
So was this bag worth the $10.00? Yes, nothing too exciting but great items to have and try out for summer. From what I can tell this had a natural theme to it. I am a big fan of natural. I can't say that anything in this bag I'd run out to purchase. I can't even say I was excited to try everything since two of the items I have yet to use. I can say this has been a fun bag of items to play with and try out, but nothing worth buying.
