Jumper Season

Autumn is my favourite season, i love the changing of the seasons and how beautiful everything looks. The colours which are associated with Autumn are so warm but the weather itself is generally bloody freezing in Britain. The leaves change colours to Oranges, Reds and Browns and start to fall to the ground and make it all crunchy, i don't know why but this has a very romantic image in my mind. I do hate that when i wake up in the morning it is freezing! I hate making my way to work as i have to layer up but i do like a cold, sunny morning purely for their beauty. I know this is a massive oxymoron but I love the beauty of those mornings and hate the cold.  However more importantly than what is happening outside is what happens inside. Before you get lots of pervy images in your head that not what i meant.

Autumn/Winter means the start of 'Snuggle Weather' as many people have dubbed it. For me and my single state this doesn't mean snuggling with someone else but means getting snuggley in Warm jumpers, blankets and baths. No one really wants to bath in the Summer as it is too hot but during the winter it gives you that warmth that you miss. I start to put a blanket on my bed for added warmth whilst i'm watching a movies and lets not forget jumpers for when you actually venture out of the house.

Jumpers are what give you that snuggled feeling whilst having to be a functioning part of society even though you would rather be at home in bed. I love a good jumper and every Autumn i rush out to buy new ones even though i have lots from last year. At the moment i am loving wearing a skater skirt, some black tights and a jumper over the top. When it gets into Winter and becomes a bit colder i will start to wear jeans more but for the moment i am still in the skirts.

I cannot stress the importance of buying a good jumper, they can last you years and also keep all of your vital parts warm. Pictured above are some of my favourite jumpers as you can tell i have packed away any colour i had in my wardrobe with my summer clothes and now i stick to more boring and classic colours.
