PH Matchmaker blush, was it a match?

I wanted to see some magic here, but sadly no magic.  This claims to "react to light & your PH for your perfect glow" "Instantly matches you in 60 seconds."  When it cam to the magic, sadly this stayed the same color.  Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad color, just was looking for the claims.  The one cool thing about this compact blush is that it has a light in it!  I don't know how many times I have found myself in a dark place needing a light when touching up my makeup.  The compact itself was fun and innovative.  This too, like many of the other Phycians Formula products has that shimmer powder layer.  Thank goodness it was only on the dots framing the blush.  This was easily removed with a stippling brush.  I'm just having a hard time with all this shimmer powder on all their products lately.  It's cute, but adds an extra step before using.  It's called, removal of the shimmer! LOL

I truly don''t have anything bad to say about this compact blush, it is a bright color.  I would use a light hand while applying.  As far as my perfect shade, well it was a bright pink.  I'm not to fond of such a bright color for everyday wear.  A good color non the less.  The packaging, hands down amazing.  I would like to see pressed powder foundation compacts with lights in them.  I personaly carry a powder foundation for touch ups, and a light would make a great compact to carry in my handbag.

Would I reccomend this?  Yes and no.  When all is said and done, it's just a blush with a hefty price tag of $$$$$ If your like me and like cool innovative things like the light, then this would be a fun item to own.  If not, I would pass.  The packinging is nice but bulky due to the light and compartment on the bottom for the brush applicator.  For it being only one color, this is going to take up some room.  This item I feel is a personal preference choice.

First swatch (forgive the shimmer, that was previously there)

First swatch and now a second swatch taken a minute later. As shown, no color change/difference.
