On the 18th of November Cher got her hand/footprint ceremony at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood last night. It’s a huge honor to receive the imprint, as important and as sparkling as the Hollywood Star at the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd. At one point the singer-actress nearly toppled over into the cement but was steadied by two men in attendance. After Cher completed the commemoration with her signature, she poured gold glitter onto the cement.
As good as the occasion may sounds, The artist suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when fans and onlookers got a good glimpse of her turquoise underwear.
She explained saying: "I lost the slip to my dress but no one realised, so I wore her tanktop (referring to her assistant) under my dress." But even that wasn't enough. Cher tells Los Angeles DJ Ryan Seacrest, "It was such a nightmare... Everyone kept standing behind me, reaching up under my skirt... and pulling down my little T-shirt...I had the presence of mind to put it on (The G-string)... I was so afraid it was gonna be worse."
Expect Cher's next film, Burlesque on November 24.
