Greek mythology is something I always loved, especially the costumes and makeup in movies and TV shows. Greek’s history was always one of my favourite periods of history, except when I had to study it for the exam. Then it was all about numbers and bare information. I could not let go this year’s Halloween to pass by without me doing a makeup look inspired by Greek goddess. Instead of Greek I named my look Golden Goddess. And by Golden Goddess it’s all about golden colour.
On eyes I mixed so many shades that I don’t remember anymore exactly, what I used where. I used few golden shades and few browns and that way I achieved a brown smokey look. On brows I first used my regular Love Brunettes shade from Essence How to Make Brows Wow palette and then I used a bit of golden eyeshadowover it. To finish the eyes I made cat eyeliner with a flick in outer and inner corner and I applied black pencil on my waterline. Following the line of cat eyeliner I applied a golden glittery eyeliner as well. On lower lashes I applied mascara and on upper lid I used false lashes. Then I draw few lines on outer part of lower lash line with golden glittery eyeliner.
By the complexion of the golden goddesses is of course everything about bronzed look. I actually wanted a bit more shimmery look on my cheeks, but I have no shimmery bronzer, so I mixed matte bronzer with golden highlighter and I contoured my face with it. I applied the same mixture on cheeks and then I added a bit of Freedom Makeup bronzer Purr that looks pinkish on me over it to give my face more fresh look. Then I highlighted my cheeks with golden highlighter.
When makeup was done the fun part has begun. Some time ago I bought golden leaves foilin Moja drogerija and I knew this foil is a must for this look. First I applied it on inner part of my dark circles – from inner corner of my eyes down towards my cheeks. Then I applied it on highest point of my cheeks on both sides and in the end on my neck on left and right side. On my lips I used golden shadefrom Flash palette and then I tapped golden eyeshadow from Sleek Sunset palette. In the end I applied golden necklace on my forehead and the look was done. The day before I did this look I braided my hair in french braid, so I could have more curly hair.

This is definitely one of my favourite looks I ever done. I really love how golden shades look on me. I wish I could wear something like that every day. I hope you like it, too. If you do, I would appreciate if you would share it further. Thank you for reading!
