Hello My Lovelies,
Hope you are all well and are having a fabulous week so far! I have been back from LA now which seems like to be forever (a few weeks) and i finished University a little earlier today so decided to edit a load of pictures for my much anticipated LA Sephora Haul! Beauty hauls are some of my favourites so i really hope you enjoy this one. Everything in this post was purchased at Sephora in LA except for the Tom Ford Lipstick which was purchased at Bloomingdales in Beverly Hills. I hope the pictures do each product justice, the lighting as you know is becoming worse and worse now the weather is changing and getting darker quicker. I am extremely happy with all of my purchases and went to LA with a wish list of goodies i wanted to pick up in LA and i think i got pretty much everything i had initially wanted :D
Sephora is one of my favourite stores to visit and i can browse in them for hours on end. bless my poor Dad who had to wait for me and my Mum when we were in shopping mode haha! I had the most amazing Assistants helping me choose everything and ensure i was matched up to everything appropriately. They even signed me up to be a 'Sephora Beauty Insider' and i got a heck load of freebies and mini sized products to bring home with me. I keep getting emails from them saying about offers and special gifts which is making me even more depressed about being back home in England...wahhh!
Make Up For Ever | HD Foundation | N155
Make Up For Ever is a brand i really love but is not readily available here in the UK. Every time i am over in Barcelona i make sure to stop by the Sephora there and pick up a few of my cult items which i swear by in my makeup collection. I really do not understand why there is not a Sephora in the UK?! The only foundation that matches me right now because of my tan is actually the Make Up For Ever Face and Body which is one of my all time favourite foundations - i must be on my 3rd bottle now since discovering it two years ago. The HD Foundation is one that is spoken about alot in the bbloggersphere and i really wanted to give it a go considering i love my other one so much. The Make Up For Ever complexion products range use innovative formulas to create a new generation of make up which is both visible on HD cameras and to the naked eye. The HD foundation is an oil-free medium to full coverage liquid foundation which is meant to cover skin imperfections, while remaining visible on screen and in real life. Sounds pretty amazing and i cannot wait to put it to the test and review it really soon for you all.
NARS | Sheer Glow Foundation | Barcelona
Just like the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, Nars Sheer Glow is a beauty product i have been coveting for what seems to be forever now. This is another product which is raved about in the bbloggersphere community so i thought i would try it out and place it on my LA wish list. The sale assistant who served me in LA was absolutely amazing with both foundations, she simply picked up the first foundation from the display and it matched me perfectly - she needs to teach me so makeup skills haha. Nars Sheer Glow is a glowy, natural radiant finish foundation with a sheer but build-able coverage that is supposed to immediately even out your skin tone. It has skincare benefits within the formulation which is meant to leave your skin hydrated, more luminous, softer and smoother - if used daily it is meant to improve your skins brightness and texture - sounds pretty amazing right?! This is another product which i am exited to use more and review for you all.
NARS | Bronzing Powder | Laguna
This is one of my ultimate favourite bronzers so this was a simple and easy purchase as i was in need of a new one for my makeup collection. It is such an amazing bronzer which i love to use daily and more heavier for evening events. I have majorly hit pan on my current one so i was in need of another - its so immaculate and new looking at the moment waiting to be used in my bronzing drawer haha. It gives my skin the perfect healthy glow with subtle hints of shimmer.
NARS Lipgloss | Turkish Delight
Like everything else i have near enough purchased this lipgloss is another cult product which is raved about throughout the bbloggers community. Not only is it an award winning lipgloss it is supposed to be Kim Kardashian favourite lipgloss - so naturally i had to add it to my makeup collection. Turkish Delight is listed on the Nars website as a 'pink sorbet' shade but personally i feel it is more of a milky baby pink shade from first impressions. If you read my blog regularly then you will know my obsession with pink lip products so this is going to be a much loved lipgloss and i cannot wait to wear it more often and even re-create a Kim K makeup look with it haha.
Tarte | Amazonian Clay Blush | Amused
The Amazonian Clay Blushers have been a beauty product i have wanted to try for ages now but yet again they are not readily available in the UK - i'll say it again Why is there not a Sephora in the UK?! I think we need to start a petition! The sales assistant helped me choose this shade as i was literally overwhelmed by all of the beautiful ones on display. I mentioned that pink is my favoured a go to shade for the cheeks and she quickly chose me this one and another one which i think was called 'Adored' which was pretty much identical except it was packed full of beautiful shimmer. We decided to go for the first shade 'Amused' as it was shimmer less and i could always add shimmer to it if i wanted to - i could wear it a few different ways.
Benefit | They're Real Mascara
Benefit They're Real has got to be one of my all time favourite mascara! I was trying to make my last tube last on as long as possible till i whisked away to LA to stock up on my beauty favourites. Sephora was having a pretty nifty deal where you got a full and mini size in a special pack for $23 which works out at around £14.43 - such a fabulous deal! Kind of wishing i picked up two now as it would have lasted me a while but at least this is something that is readily available for us in the UK - hallelujah!
Korres | Lip Butter | Jasmine
The Korres lip butters are another product i have been longing to try for a while now - i was constantly tempted to order them online on Asos.com but i always wanted to see them in person as i was torn between a few shades. When i saw them in Sephora i literally jumped for joy and quickly browsed through the stand - surprise surprise like always the shades i always want are usually out of stock - luckily the sales assistant had a browse round back and found me another one, yay! Jasmine is a really pretty nudeish pink shade which is just up my street. It is another product which is raved about throughout the bbloggers community so i am extremely looking forward to using it more often and reviewing it for you lovely lot.
Urban Decay | Moondust Eyeshadow | Diamond Dog
A few months ago i purchased the Moondust Eyeshadow in Space Cowboy and i literally fell in love with it. They are the most beautiful eyeshadows you will ever come across and i am currently using them both everyday for a subtle smokey eye look. They are packed full of beautiful sparkle which looks stunning on the eyes and are extremely pigmented. I love how the packaging is a little different others in the permanent line and i am seriously considering getting the rest in the line as i have really fallen for them.
Anastasia Beverly Hills | Brow Wiz | Soft Brown
Anastasia Brow Wiz is another beauty product i have been dying to try. Yet again, this is another product which is raved about alot throughout the bbloggers community and is seen quite a lot in Youtube videos. I can not leave the house without doing my eyebrows now, sad i know but if i do i feel a little naked?! Everyone knows how much i adore my Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel but i think i have found a new contender - this is a stunning product and so far from first impressions it really works well at filling in and giving my brows a little more definition but in an extremely natural way. I love that fact that it is a mechanical priduct and does not need sharpening - i am forever hating when i have to sharpen a product and i make a mess everywhere!
OCC | Lip Tars | Lovecraft & Femme
Like with everything else i have featured in this post the OCC Lip Tars have been something i have been longing to try for ages! You can pick them up on some websites in the UK but when i knew Sephora stocked them i waited to have a browse of them in store. I couldn't decide between 'Lovecraft' and 'Femme' so i decided to just go for them both haha. Lovecraft is part of the Metallic lip tar range however when swatched it didn't seem 'as' metallic or extremely noticeable, if anything it looks more of a shimmer. OCC describe Lovecraft as an iridescent pink/lilac shade with blue undertones much similar to MAC's Pink Nouveau. Femme is part of the Matte lip tar range, even though this is the case i have not noticed much drying out or bleeding of the product on my lips but i will keep you updated when i review them properly for you all. OCC describe Femme as a true baby pink shade and i think it is extremely spot on - compared to lovecraft it is more milky in shade and has slight warm undertones of coral when swatched. I am extremely happy with both of my OCC purchased and excited to use them more in the future - i was even advised my the sales assistants that i could mix them up a create different and unique shades which sounds quite fun and exciting!
Tom Ford | Lip Colour | Spanish Pink
This little bugger was so hard to track down in LA as it is one of the more popular lipsticks in the range by Tom Ford. Every Nordstorm and Macy store i went into they were completely sold out - until we went to a Bloomingdales store at the Beverly Centre and they had ONE left in stock - as if it was fate the last one was waiting for me. As you can imagine i literally jumped for joy and the sales assistant quickly rang it up on the till and wrapped it up all pretty in Tom Ford packaging. In the tube it looks a lot darker than what it is in real life, it is a stunning nude baby pink esk shade. It is quite deceiving much like my beloved Chanel Rouge Coco in Rose Comet. I have restrained myself from using this since being back from LA as i do not want to ruin the beautiful embossed 'TF' haha.
I hope you all enjoyed the 4th instalment to my LA Haul and all of the Sephora goodies i picked up. I would love to know if you have tried any of the products and your thoughts. Also, i would love to know about any other makeup goodies you are currently coveting - always looking for an excuse to go shopping haha. If there is something you would like to see a review of first please let me know! Like always lovelies, if you have an questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you all and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!
Lots of Love
