  • Disney just released the soundtrack for the upcoming live action remake of The Lion King.
  • The list of songs includes mostly remakes of the original soundtrack, with music from Elton John, Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Billy Eichner, and Seth Rogen.
  • The soundtrack for the live-action movie will include one new song.

As if we weren't excited enough about the upcoming live action remake of The Lion King, we now have a look at the soundtrack—and we're pretty sure moviegoers everywhere are going to have it on repeat.

Disney just announced all of the songs that will be featured in the 2019 film, including Beyoncé and Donald Glover's rendition of the iconic "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?", plus a brand new song: "Never Too Late," performed by Elton John.

The digital soundtrack is set to be released on July 11, with the physical album available for pre-order now before it's released on July 19—the same day as the film opens in U.S. theaters.

"Just hearing that music strikes you deeply. Even if you don't know the film or stage show, there is a spiritual strength in it," Jon Favreau, the film's director, stated in a press release. "But if you know the film, and if you grew up with this music—now it can suddenly and immediately evoke the story itself, as well as all the connected memories and emotions that you have from your own past experience with The Lion King or from the time of your life that you were in, or your childhood, or the life events its connected to."

With a look at the official track list, you'll notice that Beyoncé and Donald Glover are only performing "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" together, which fans first got to hear snippets of when the latest trailer of The Lion King debuted on June 23.

There is, however, one spot on the soundtrack that is labeled as TBA, short for too be announced. Could it be a surprise Beyoncé track? Or perhaps one for Donald Glover? We have so many questions and not enough answers...yet.

One thing that has been answered is when tickets will go on sale. The answer? Today! So you may want to go ahead and reserve your seat.

The world is still reaction to the news that Halle Bailey is officially going to play Ariel in the live-action remake of Disney's classic animation, The Little Mermaid.

And some fans can't help but wonder if a certain Beyonce Knowles-Carter might have had a little something to do with opening the door for Halle, 19, to get this life-changing opportunity.

As we all know, Bey will be the voice of Nala in the upcoming live-action release of The Lion King so she's totally been having a few chats with some important people working at Disney.

So it wouldn't be crazy to think she might have had a few suggestions for them when she heard they were looking to cast a lead for The Little Mermaid.

For those who don't know, Halle and her sister Chloe shot to stardom after they were discovered by Beyonce on YouTube, who then signed them up to her Parkwood Entertainment record label.

And one Twitter user had some fun trying to imagine how things might have gone down if Beyonce did use her power to give her artists a chance to shine on one of the biggest film projects in the coming years.

'beyonce @ Disney HQ: now before i sign on for nala i want y'all to take a look at my recommendations for the rest of your lil movies,' she wrote.

'the parkwood-disney industrial complex is in full swing. get on board or get left behind', she added.

Director Rob Marshall has spent the past couple of months meeting potential stars, but insiders say that Halle had been a front runner from the start.

'After an extensive search, it was abundantly clear that Halle possesses that rare combination of spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance — plus a glorious singing voice — all intrinsic qualities necessary to play this iconic role', Rob said in a statement.

This will be the singer's feature film debut, and will hopefully be the start of even better things for Chloe X Halle.

Halle will be joining Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina, who have already been cast. It was previously reported that Melissa McCarthy is in talks to play the role of Ursula, the film's sea witch villain.
